Fidelity Baptist Church

Serving God for 125 Years

Music Family

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.   Col 3:16 (NKJV)

One of the great privileges and purpose of life is to worship God. We come together in the unity of the faith to do just that, to worship Him in psalms, songs and hymns, both old and new. The Bible says let every thing that have breath praise to Lord. We therefore invite all of our members to join the choir and instrumentalist in praising God for He alone is worthy of our praise.

Praise Ministry

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!  Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.             Psalms 100:1-5 (NKJV)

Sunday worship begins with a period of devotion, and is moved into an experience of praise. The Praise Ministry Team engages the congregation in contemporary songs that help the congregation to enter into an attitude and atmosphere of thanksgiving and praise.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is like the air that we breathe and the blood that runs through our veins. Without prayer there is no life. The Beloved Church is a church that prays, prays often, and prays without ceasing. The Prayer Ministry Team comes together every Sunday morning at 9:30 to pray for the needs of the church. They pray with and for one another, and will assist with prayer during the time of alter call and  throughout the service.

Senior Care Team

We acknowledge the great faith of our seniors, elders and those who came before us. Thier contributions have formed the foundation of our history as a churh and we now honor them and care for their needs through fellowship, helping hands, and tender loving care.

Chair: Rev. Dr. Dianthia Gilmore

Usher Board

In the tradition of the church, Usher Boards are the keepers of the door who watch over the service and insure that all is in order. Their responsibility is to monitor the service and help to control the traffic in and out of the sanctuary, insuring that times of reverence and meditation are not disturbed by late entries. Ushers assist visitors in finding a comfortable seat as they enter, assist with the collection of the offerings and distribution of any church literature, including the weekly bulletins. The Ushers also monitor and assist with any needs in the pulpit for the pastor and visiting preachers.
